Our Story
Armored Insulation was formed as a result of a tornado that occurred in Mayfield, Kentucky on December 10, 2021. At the time of the tornado, Jeremy Walker had served as the Service Manager for Waggoner Radiator & Auto Repair for over 13 years. This business had been owned by Jared Baker’s in-laws since the 1950s and was completely decimated by the EF-4 tornado leaving Jeremy without a job.
Jeremy Walker lives in Murray, Kentucky with his wife Elyse and two sons, Tosh and Connor. Prior to overseeing the service operations of Waggoner Radiator & Automotive Repair, Jeremy grew up helping his stepdad operate a local body shop. Following the December 10th tornado, he took a temporary job as a Pro-Specialist at Lowe’s assisting area contractors. Jeremy handles all of the day-to-day operations at Armored Insulation and looks forward to meeting with you to provide a free custom quote!
Jared Baker grew up in Mayfield, Kentucky and resides in Graves County with his wife Christy and three daughters, Lily, Sarah and Leah. Besides his full-time job as a Staff Officer for a natural resources agency, the Bakers also own Bluegrass Commercial Cleaning, Animal Tales and June + Jane Co. He’s always had an interest in the insulation business but it wasn’t until partnering with Jeremy that it came to fruition. Jared handles all the business and marketing for Armored Insulation.
