Armored Insulation was born from resilience and a commitment to community rebuilding. Our journey began in the aftermath of the devastating EF-4 tornado that struck Mayfield, Kentucky on December 10, 2021. This catastrophic event not only reshaped our community but also sparked the creation of a company dedicated to making homes and businesses more comfortable, energy-efficient, and resilient.
Jeremy brings over 13 years of exemplary customer service experience to Armored Insulation. Prior to founding our company, Jeremy served as the Service Manager for Waggoner Radiator & Auto Repair, a Mayfield institution owned by his business partner's in-laws since the 1950s. When the tornado decimated the business, Jeremy's expertise in customer care and operational management found a new purpose in the insulation industry. As our Operations Manager, Jeremy oversees all the day-to-day activities at Armored Insulation. He personally meets with clients to provide free custom quotes, ensuring that each project is tailored to the specific needs of the property and its owners. Jeremy resides in Murray, Kentucky with his wife Elyse and their two sons, Tosh and Connor.
A Mayfield native, Jared Baker brings a wealth of local knowledge and business acumen to Armored Insulation. While maintaining his full-time position as a Staff Officer for a natural resources agency, Jared's entrepreneurial spirit has led him to venture into various successful businesses, including Bluegrass Commercial Cleaning, Animal Tales, and June + Jane Co. As our Business and Marketing Manager, Jared ensures that Armored Insulation maintains its commitment to quality service while expanding our reach across McCracken County, Daviess County, KY, and beyond. Jared lives in Graves County with his wife Christy and their three daughters, Lily, Sarah, and Leah.
